Building Bridges To Success
Call For Presenters
Northern Tier Providers Coalition Conference Committee is seeking proposals for workshop presentations that will support our conference theme “Building Bridges To Success”. For years you've been honing your skills as addiction professionals and building successful programs for your clients and communities. Northern Tier Providers Coalition is asking you to share your experience and knowledge by submitting a proposal to present at our Eleventh Annual Conference.
The purpose of this conference is to provide high-quality training and networking opportunities for addiction professionals from across New York State. The conference committee is looking for training sessions designed to transcend all areas of the field of addiction services including prevention/treatment/recovery. Submissions may cover the gamut of current and emerging issues, best practices, and challenges. Interest areas may include but are not limited to: Promising Practices, Successful Clinical Strategies, Use of Supervision, Gambling Treatment/ Prevention/ Recovery, Tobacco Treatment/Prevention/Recovery, Addiction Medicine, Building and Sustaining Community Coalitions, Ethics, Spirituality, Talent Management, History of Twelve Step Programs in the North Country, Leadership Development, and Rural Culture.
Note: Workshops will be scheduled in 90 minute time slots. Presenters are encouraged to allow time for questions and answers. Submissions for presentations must be received by July 4th, 2008. Presenters will have conference registration fee waived, accommodations and meals will be the presenter’s responsibility.
