NYSAM Listserve
It is with our commitment to strengthen the New York Society of Addiction Medicine (NYSAM), our state chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, that we bring you this NYSAM listserve. This listserve is one manifestation of our chapter enhancement efforts that also include providing high caliber continuing education for our membership. Our hope is that this listserve will be a means to facilitate connectedness among our members, with the National ASAM office, with other local and national organizations, and with issues in addiction medicine that are of importance to our membership.

We hope to keep members abreast of local and national legislative and regulatory developments. We also plan to make members aware of pertinent educational opportunities. Perhaps most important, we intend to make our talented and committed membership aware of opportunities to become more involved with NYSAM and ASAM.

Our intention is to work together to build NYSAM into an organization that is responsive to the needs and interests of our membership, those practicing addiction medicine, and the patients we serve.
