Maintaining the integrity and professionalism of the Recovery Coach and Peer Advocate professions is a key priority of ASAP-NYCB (New York Certification Board) and OASAS (Office of Addiction Services and Supports). As the profession evolves it is critical that those supporting others in their recovery follow a set of professional standards and principles. This workshop presents a comprehensive introduction to the ethical considerations for recovery coaches/peer advocates and satisfies the Ethics Competency requirements for CRPA and CARC Certifications.
