Visit the Trainer Registry Directory

Find a Training:
Find scheduled training dates for select trainings at the Friends of Recovery–New York (FOR-NY) Training Calendar.  Before registering for a training at the FOR-NY site, confirm that it’s found in one of the 3 lists of approved trainings for initial certification on this page. Unapproved trainings are not accepted.  Not all trainings are posted to the FOR-NY calendar.  Candidates also have the option of directly contacting individual trainers to inquire about their programs, dates, fees, training platform, etc.  Contact info appears on the lists.

Certification Renewal Program & Training:
For information regarding the NYCB Renewal Program, training requirements and comprehensive lists of continuing education and professional development options, please click here to visit our dedicated webpage.

Training Scholarships:
Occasional taxpayer-funded scholarships are available through FOR-NY (https://for-ny.org/crpa-scholarships/) and occasional privately-funded scholarships are available for online training at Recovery Coach University (https://www.recoverycoachuniversity.com/).  These organizations are completely separate from NYCB.  We have no further information - please keep checking back with them.
